The vision of the Macedonian Trips teams

is to allow a greater number of people the opportunity to participate on a mission trip. The idea is to give individuals a chance to experience a hands-on situation teaching and telling others about Christ. In the process of helping others, you will grow closer in your walk with the Lord. By allowing people the opportunity to experience a mission trip it may help them step out in a greater way in their own spiritual walk. We never know what we can do until we try. I want young people within our collective churches to have the opportunity to experience a real hands-on mission trip with students their own age.  Team members will need to rely not only on each other, but also on the Lord. The idea is to have the team members help the locals in running their VBS, church camp, or evangelistic programs.

 2012

Philippines

A team of 5 packed their bag and headed for the Philippines on April 9th, 2012.  The team consisted of Kevin Bollinger, Mike Ryan, Russell Lyster, Cole Howard and myself.  The original trips was to work with Bro Abner Tuazon in the National Youth camp In Baguio City.   The trip was extended one week in order to help with the VBS program at Independent Calvary Missionary Baptist church, Angeles City, pastor Tuazon.  The first week included VBS, local church visitation and some sightseeing around the area.  The second week was the National Youth Camp, with the theme of Discovering God's Will.  The team took part in lecturing, workshops and teaching.  I had the honor to be the camp speaker for the week.  The Saying "KISS" it really played well in the Philippines.  We learned just how simple the Gospel of Jesus can be, and yet how powerful the message really is in the lives of people.

Vanuatu

May 31st is the slated date to leave for Vanuatu, returning on June 15th.  We will be working with missionary Danny White in Port Vila and on the island of Tanna.

Dexter Maine

Brother Mike Ryan will be heading up a trip to Dexter Maine, July 21-29.  Included in the activities are a 3 day sports camp in the park and some white water rafting.

La Habra California

In July we will be helping pastor Stephens and the La Habra church with some neighborhood outreach and a vbs program. 

This trip will be headed up by Cole and Allison Howard.
