What Our Team Members Have To Say
Those who have traveled with us and shared God's word, share their feelings, experiences and what their trips has done in their lives.

"The trip for me was a step by step revelation from God. I did not know
why our Lord wanted me to go on this particular Mac Trip but I knew He wanted me
to go so I did. I loved every minute of it. Seeing the work that He had started
there was amazing. Hearing the missionaries testimonies encouraged me to become
more open to what my Lord could do through me. Now I'll be going to Belize next
to help build what ever they need built. A wise deacon told me one time to
listen to the Lords still quite voice and then go. Then he said "don't miss
the boat, you will regret it if you do".

"Going to Peru was one of the most amazing trips of my life. It was amazing to see the love of God working through out the whole week while we preached the Gospel of Christ. It is amazing to see God save the lives of them who believe on Him. I would encourage any child of God who wishes to get closer to the Creator to go to one of these mission trips"
Kerry Little: FMBC Concord, CA
Being able to help out on the mission field has long been a desire of my heart. I am so blessed that God has allowed me to go with Mac-Trips twice to Honduras and once to Peru. Each of these trips has been a unique experience of service and personal growth. I was able to see God working in the lives of others as they realized salvation through Jesus or re-dedicated their lives to their savior, and I was also clearly aware of God working in my life and each trip has been a time of tremendous conviction and spiritual growth. I highly recommend this ministry to anyone who is wanting to get outside of their comfort zone and let God have free reign in their life... you won't be the same.

I've been on three Mac Trips now. One to Peru and two to Honduras. I can't tell you which one of these trips was the best because they were all so amazing. It is great to see children of God coming together from different parts of the world with one common goal in mind. The most amazing part to me is the friendships I have built with some of the people I have met, many of who don't even speak the same language. But the love of Jesus Christ always pulls us together and gives us an immediate bond. I would recommend these trips to any child of God. The trip will give you a whole new perspective on things and teach you more about God and yourself than you can imagine.

I had the chance to go to Honduras in 2009 and I was absolutely blown away. It is amazing to see God not only working in the lives of the people there, but also working in the lives of the people who were sent. The best part other than the lives that were saved, are the friendships that were made. Living with a group of people with a common interest in mind will bring you closer than you can ever imagine. I learned that you can communicate your love for people without being able to speak to them. Its a life changing experience and I cant wait to go back in 2010. For anyone who is not sure whether they should go on a trip...GO! It will change your life! |

Every morning when i drive to work i wish i was still in Thailand. selling
animals just seems so meaningless now. everyday someone new asks me how the trip
went and i really have no idea how to tell them. i cant sum of the trip in few
sentences while making small talk, it just won't do it justice.
i thought that the trip was truly amazing. i really didn't know what to expect,
so i was open to whatever. I had an awesome time traveling to Thailand and
getting to know the team and the missionaries. it felt great to be a part of
something and to contribute to the Lords work in such an amazing way. While in
Thailand my perspective on my life here in the states began to change. the
things i use to think made me happy, now don't seem as important

The age that I am now, I see so many others falling away from God.
Falling away from the truth that they have been taught there whole
lives. Its so sad to see. I have been a Missionary Baptist my whole life
and was content living my life with just going to church every Sunday,
going through the motions, and didn't have the burning fire I should
have about the Lord. This trip gave me that fire. To teach others, to
teach them what the Lord has done for me and the blessings he gives me
everyday. I felt as though I was out of my comfort zone on this trip to
not speak the language, the HEAT, etc. But these missionaries are out of
their comfort zone everyday. When you came to our church I had a burden
to go on one of these trips. That very same night I told my family I was
going and less than a year later here we are. I have been a missionary
baptist my whole life, but I needed to know why. i needed to know why we
even supported missionaries. I learned why this trip. These people don't
know who God is. They don't even know what it means to be a sinner. So
to go on this trip and teach that was so rewarding. Also, to meet people
from all different states and even in Cali that have the same morals and
values and that have also been raised like I have...it's refreshing. I
had a great trip. I can't thank you enough for all that you did and all
the planning and everything. We have already be talking about which one
we are going to take next. It's a hard decision. I will have to pray
about it, but count me in for one next year! I think if we had more
going on these trips, there would be less people graduating out of
church when they graduate high school.

In January 2010 I got the opportunity to experience a mission trip
to Honduras! I knew God wanted me to go on this trip, but wasn't quite
sure why? It was AMAZING to see how people, none of whom I'd ever met,
come together with the same objective of furthering God's ministry.
Throughout the week I had sooo many first time experiences. Before the
trip, I very sincerely asked God that if I was going to see anything on
this trip, I wanted to see souls saved. It is our duty to spread the
seeds, but as far as them blooming, that's up to God. Halfway through
the week I was wondering why none of them were blooming. Finally, toward
the end of the trip I realized that 9 souls had been saved!! God will
always come through with His part if we do ours. This trip was without a
doubt the most life changing experience I've ever encountered. If you
feel an urge or calling to step out of your comfort zone and expose
yourself to one of these trips, DON'T let the opportunity slip by. It
will change you forever.

This trip was awesome! when we left SFO I didn't really know what to expect, like people would ask me if I was excited, and I would say yes, it's just I didn't know what to be excited for! Like usually I think bout what I'm going to be doing somewhere when I go somewhere, but Thailand, I didn't know how to be excited for it! But when we got there, I knew my only purpose was to serve God, encourage the Missionaries and try to show the kids how to be a servant and show them what God has done for me! So I was pretty amped up the hole time, and that fire is still burning. I think my favorite thing about this trip was for one all the people that got saved, that is Awesome! but also the way the Thai kids WANTED to know what we had to give them. They wanted to know God, and what Jesus did through his life. You could feel the desire in the way they acted. I was talking to Danny one night in Kohen Khen, (I probably Butchered that), and he was telling me about one of the girls at our VBS, he told me in order for her and all of her class mates to graduate the school they were just in, they had to bow down to this Buddha idol. So about all 200 students bowed down, she stayed standing. The principal came over to her and said, "if you don't bow down, we will have to kick you out and you wont be able to graduate". The girl said, "I don't worship this, I serve Jesus Christ". So they kicked her out and she didn't graduate. When Danny told me this, first I was in tears, but then I realized I never have realized what it was like to be a Christian in another country. In America, the most you'll get is a dirty look, maybe even joke or two thrown your way. But for her to make that kind of stand to a higher authority like that, I thought that was awesome an that's when my fire just lit up! There was a flame before that, but it multiplied knowing that God was using us to influence those kids in such a way that they will never forget nor will we.

For being my first out of the country mission’s trip I really didn’t know what to expect. Everyone told me that it would be a life changing experience and that I will never be the same. WOW, AMAZING, is all I can say since I have been back from Thailand. God is truly amazing and life changing. He is working so hard to be seen in Thailand. I feel that for me personally, sometimes I don’t really grasp exactly how big He really is and how present He is around me until I spent those 2 weeks in Thailand and saw the work he was doing in a country where He is not accepted.
And for the missionaries, wow, what can I say but how truly inspirational those families really are. Their faith in Jesus Christ and how they step out of their own comfort zone everyday to see lives changed for Him was truly amazing and humbling. It’s funny how you can meet people and in a two week period feel so comfortable in their homes and surroundings that it feels like it’s your own personal home.
I think this experience has strengthened my walk with Christ and gave me a bigger love and desire for being out in the mission field. I can’t wait to go on my next MAC trip!
